Consilium / Data
We’re building a connected record of American public life. People, elections, money, and the places they shape—all grounded in original sources.
Nationwide coverage is our collection roadmap, not a claim of complete availability today.
The nationwide plan
Our planned scope spans all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and the five inhabited U.S. territories. Federal, state, county, municipal, school, and special-district records—with a distinct inventory for public tribal-government sources.
Political records come first. We’re building state by state, connecting recent records and expanding historical coverage as sources allow.
Candidates, contests, ballot measures, turnout, and results—from federal races to school boards. Primaries, general, special, and local elections, with county and precinct detail where published.
Officials, candidates, institutions, and seats. Connected histories of elections, appointments, service, vacancies, and the rules that define each office.
Committees, contributions, spending, loans, and independent expenditures. Lobbying registrations, clients, disclosures, and ethics records, with amendments kept in context.
Bills, text versions, sponsors, committees, hearings, and roll-call votes. Follow a proposal through its actions, revisions, and passage into law.
States, counties, cities, districts, wards, and precincts. Historical boundaries connected to Census demographics, population, and the places each record represents.
Election calendars, filing periods, candidate filings, polling information, aggregate registration, audits, and recounts—with dates and source context attached.
The longer view
The broader collection plan extends into the public records that explain how government works and communities change. These domains follow the political core.
Executive orders, agency rules, council agendas, minutes, and ordinances. Courts, judges, published opinions, and aggregate judicial activity.
Budgets, revenue, spending, debt, audits, contracts, grants, procurement, and public workforce compensation. Business registrations and professional licenses.
Parcels, assessments, zoning, permits, transportation, and utilities. Water, environment, agriculture, public lands, education, and public-health and safety aggregates.
Evidence, not just entries
